Homework June 2nd-June 6th     

Updates

Multiplication

Please make sure you have a set of flashcards to practice with at home.  We will have daily timed tests in class.      

Daily Reading

Read each night to meet 100 minute weekly goal.  Write down the title and get parent initials each night.  Due Friday

Homework 30-40 minutes each night Mon-Thurs.

Homework is meant as a review of a class lesson from that day.  Math homework will be pulled from our third grade textbook resources. 

Spelling

We are finished with spelling tests for the year. 

 

 

Classroom Happenings

Math-We will finish up with measurement this week and take a test Tuesday

Writing- We will finish putting the finishing touches on our Portland reports.  We will also work on completing timed essay prompts. 

Religion-We will be working with the” Fully Alive” books.  Students will explore how work provides people with meaningful experiences. 

Reading- We will finish reading the biography on Thomas Jefferson.  We will practice comprehension and response strategies.

Social Studies-We will continue studying our Nation’s Government this week.   We will take a test Thursday.
