Meet Miss Mac

My name is Miss MacNeur and I go by Miss Mac.  This is my fifth year of teaching fourth grade at St. Clare, and I am very excited to be working with another great group of students.  Besides fourth grade, I have teaching experience in first, second, fifth, and sixth grades.

I grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana and moved to Hillsboro, Oregon in 1990.  I have always loved school.  In 1992 I began attending Valley Catholic Middle School and graduated from Valley Catholic High School in 1998.  I received my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of Portland in 2002.  I recently completed my Master’s of Arts in Teaching degree with a reading endorsement from Pacific University in Forest Grove.

I enjoy basketball—playing, as well as coaching.  I currently coach one of the JVII squads at Jesuit High School.  I also enjoy golf, snow skiing, playing the piano, reading, and traveling.  I have had the opportunity to travel to Australia, Mexico, Austria, Ireland, and Japan.  I hope to travel to Africa someday, too.

I spent two weeks driving around the entire country with my family and sightseeing.

These are just a few highlights!

I spent two weeks traveling around the island of Kyushu, and I took a bullet train to Tokyo.
