Meet Miss Mac
My name is Miss MacNeur, but I go by Miss Mac. This is my ninth year of teaching fourth grade at St. Clare, and I am very excited to be working with another great group of students. Besides fourth grade, I have teaching experience in first, second, fifth, and sixth grades.
I grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana, and moved to Hillsboro, Oregon in 1990. I have always loved school. In 1992, I began attending Valley Catholic Middle School and graduated from Valley Catholic High School in 1998. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of Portland in 2002. I also completed my Master’s of Arts in Teaching degree with a reading focus from Pacific University in Forest Grove.
I enjoy basketball—playing, as well as coaching. I currently coach JV2 basketball at Jesuit High School. In addition to coaching basketball, I also serve as the JV assistant softball coach at Jesuit. In my spare time, I enjoy golf, riding quads, boating, snow skiing, playing the piano, reading, and traveling. I have had the opportunity to travel to Australia, Mexico, Austria, Ireland, Japan, and Nicaragua. I hope to travel to Africa someday, too.
