Kindergarten Birthdays

In kindergarten, birthdays are a special event.  Students are crowned for the day and are given special privileges.  Families are encouraged to bring a healthy snack to share at our snack time (fresh fruit or veggies).  Students may also bring a favorite book to share with the class.  In addition, if you wish to send something special to school, how about treating our class to a birthday book?  Students may bring a wrapped book as a gift to present to the class in recognition of his/her birthday.  What a special treat!  Parents may write their child's name and birthday on the inside cover of the book and attach a photograph as a dedication page.  These books become special treasures to our class and will become a permanent part of our classroom library.
